I'm more of a NY style type, hence the bias...

Garlicky excellence with creamy toppings (ie, where the cheese, sauce, and olive oil blend as one). Original style.

New kid on the block (Tarrant's long lost uncle from Italy)...New York style with a chewy, charred crust...just the way I like it.  Best Pizza in downtown.

About as close as you're going to get to traditional "NY style" in town
(4) Rosa's 2470 Anderson Hwy Powhatan, VA (804) 598-5244 
This pizzeria has been around forever for a reason. Powhattan is lucky to have them.

Another old-time Richmond pizzeria. An oasis in the tough East End.

I totally detest placing a chain on my top 5 list, but they deserve it (or is it an indictment of the Richmond pizza scene?). Pastry-like crust and surprisingly good sauce. Gotta love the square.
